Manufacturing of tanks for semi-trailers, trailers, chassis of trucks from fiberglass GRP, FRP.

Our company produces and supplies tanks for trailers, semi-trucks and chassis of trucks from fiberglass (fiber composite). Also we supply ready-made tankers for transportation, temporary storage of any types of liquids (food, chemical, mineral oil). Today, we offer manufacturing of fiberglass tanks according to the customer requirements, specifics of use and properties of substances for which they are intended. Fiberglass, which is used in producing, is based on polyester, vinyl ester resins resistant to many aggressive liquids. Fiberglass is structural material, which is able to withstand all kinds of loads, including shock and vibration. Fiberglass is insoluble and is not subject to melting. Fiberglass has high chemical resistance, low water absorption, and ecological cleanliness of the final product. We produce tanks as cylindrical as elliptical shape of any size. We offer three types of tanks - single-, double-walled, insulated, number of sections is made according to the client’s demand. Also the tank can be equipped with a heating system using steam or electric powered from the vehicle and / or external power. Tanks have fire-resistant outer layer. All tanks are manufactured according to ADR (European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road), also tanks can be certified for a particular purpose, if such application requires mandatory certification.


 

All fiberglass (GRP) tanks have undeniable advantages:

  • Low specific weight 1.1 - 1.6 g / cm ³;
  • High specific mechanical strength;
  • High impact resistance;
  • Resistant to corrosion;
  • High resistance to weathering and UV radiation;
  • Insensitive to low temperature (coefficient of linear expansion 0,45-8 x10 ^ 6 deg ^ -1);
  • Resistance to sudden temperature changes;
  • Does not exposed to rot and corrosion;
  • Not deteriorate almost (useful lifetime at least 50 years);
  • Not subject to bacterial growth of moss and mold;
  • High maintainability.

 

The structure of single-walled fiberglass (GRP) tank

  • The inner layer is made of chemically resistant or food fiberglass. This layer consists of glass veil, glass roving and the relevant binding. The production process is carried out by a continuous and spiral winding on the prepared shell ring. The layer thickness is 4-5 mm.

  • The middle layer is made of structural fiberglass, which is used in the manufacture of aircraft’s centerbody (airplanes, helicopters, etc.). This layer ensures a high mechanical strength. This layer consists of glass veil, glass roving and the relevant binding. This layer is also applied by a continuous and spiral winding directly on the inner layer. The layer thickness is 6-7 mm.

  • The outer layer provides fire protection of the tank and serves as protection from external factors. Its structure is glass roving and fireproof binding. Also atop of this layer can be an additional fire protection coating, which will increase the protection time of the tank from the fire till 60 minutes.

  • * All the layers are joined together in case of total polymerization of bindings. As a result, the tank wall is a monolithic material.

 

The structure of the double-walled insulated fiberglass (GRP) tank

    Double-walled tank consists of two separately fabricated tanks, which were later rigidly fixed to each other by structural fiberglass. The space between the tanks is filled by the self-expanding insulation material. That ensures the absence of voids, and gives additional rigidity tank. Thickness of insulation material is at least 30 mm.

The warranty on the tank is up to 5 years
